Enjoy some history, comedy shows, a unique mix of arts and crafts, food and drinks, jousting shows and hundreds of funny costumed characters. Parking is FREE and you can buy your tickets at your nearby Harris Teeter.
Amazing Maize Maze at Rural Hill
September 11-November 7
A fun activity for your friends and family! Walk through the seven acre corn field maze, searching for puzzles to help you navigate through the maze. When you’re done, enjoy a hayride around the farm, pick out a pumpkin, and enjoy hiking, corn-hole, and even more exploring! In October, gather your friends and family for Night Mazes!
Davidson Farmers Market
Weekly on Saturday until November 20
The Davidson Farmers Market is held at 8am every Saturday until noon (until November 20). The market features 35 farmers and local producers. Enjoy locally grown fruit, vegetables, meat, and cheese. You can also purchase eggs, flowers, breads and soaps, plus much more. Look for the market in Downtown Davidson, right next to the town hall.
Check out the foliage
A favorite fall activity for many is simply seeing the beautiful colors of fall once foliage is at its peak.
Lake Norman State Park
The State park has a 30.5 mile single track that is perfect for mountain biking. If you prefer to walk, check out the 5 mile lake shore trail where you’ll walk along the body the water and you’ll see the beautiful colors of fall surrounding you. Plus the reflection of the trees in the water is perfect for photos!
By Boat
We’re lucky in Lake Norman because we can boat well into the fall season! If you don’t want to hike or walk, get out on your boat! Perhaps this will be a perfect day to wrap up your boating season since the colder months are just around the corner.
